This has nothing to do with leather, other than the Slim Jim holster above is being used. Just a fun video taken with a phone camera by the shooter—so it’s shakey! Shooting black powder is almost as fun as shooting a bow…(BTW, in this video, the revolver is mistakenly labeled as an “1855” model, but is actually the 1851 Colt Navy.
